Juan Castañer, its previous director, will continue to play a key role in the Division.
With over 24 years of experience as an economist, Adames joins Estudios Técnicos, Inc. after working for 13 years as capital planning manager at Banco Santander Puerto Rico. At the institution, Adames made important contributions in relation to economic analysis and projections. He was also a professor of economics at the UPR and the Polytechnic University.
“Leslie Adames’ arrival at Estudios Técnicos, Inc., along with Juan Castañer’s extensive experience, reaffirms the firm’s commitment to its clients to offer them our Division’s best expertise in economic matters, complimented by our skilled multidisciplinary team. This capacity allows us to bring interdisciplinary approaches to our work and handle highly complex projects,” said Graham Castillo, president and Chief Operating Officer of ETI.
“Juan Castañer, who has been part of our company for more than 15 years, will become our advisor and, in addition to working closely with Adames, will be responsible for economic studies in which his experience and knowledge are particularly relevant,” added Castillo.
Adames expressed being enthusiastic about continuing to add value to ETI, incorporating, in addition to his extensive experience in economic research, the financial industry’s perspective in the analysis offered for companies from different sectors. “Approaches such as capital stress, risk management and monitoring issues, which could impact an organization’s capital position, are some of the new services that the firm will offer,” he said.
Castillo pointed out that “Estudios Técnicos, Inc. has been a pioneer in everything related to economic and social analysis, urban and environmental planning issues, market and consumer studies, as well as other consulting needs of the public and private sectors. Our multidisciplinary approach positions us as a leading company in the development of public policy, strategies, planning and management of the implementation of change programs. That approach is strengthened by our robust vision for the future.”
